NG by Arquitectos Anónimos

Klientide järgi nime saanud NG-maja asub Põhja-Portugalis Santo Tirso linnakeses. Maja projekteerisid Maria Veloso ja Vasco Aragão arhitektuuribüroost Arquitectos Anónimos Portos. Santo Tirso on u 14000 elanikuga linnake, mis asub maalilisel Minho maastikul, kus viinapuud vahelduvad lopsakate künkatippudega. Portugali suuruselt teine linn Porto asub vaid 30 km kaugusel. Linnake varustab ka suurt osa Põhja-Portugalist tekstiiliga.

Maja karkassiks on kasutatud suurt merekonteinerit ning fassaad on kaetud puitlaudisega. Kindlasti üks parimaid näiteid konteinermajadest, mida mina näinud olen. Elamuosa istub vanal vundamendil, millest kasvas välja ka arhitektide kontseptsioon- taasleitud vanast võib saada tükike millestki uuest. Konteineriosa kaks külge on asendatud suurte klaasakendega. Seest on maja avatud planeeringuga ning köögi- ja vannitoamoodulite paigaldamise valmidusega.

80 m² maja ehitati aastal 2006 potensiaaliga saada ühe inimese eramuks.

NG House in Northen Portugal is designed by Arquitectos Anónimos. The house is finished in wooden skin and full glass at both sides. Located 30km north-east of Porto in Santo Tirso, in the heart of the picturesque Minho countryside dotted with sloping vines and wooded hilltops, Santo Tirso is the hub of a large textile industry that covers much of this part of northern Portugal.

Sometimes we dig up foundations only to cover them up again. A safe certainty to determine what can be shown in the pre-existings. Built in 2006, this extension, a wooden finished container, side toped with big glass plans, answers to a simple program possible to become a private house.

It is an open space with the pavement equiped, ready to receive the adequate facilities (bath and kitchen modules) to become a single person house. They designed a light metalic system which permits ample overhangs, freeing up the interior space from other structural elements or walls. The transmition of forces from the tube-box is supported on the powerful existing stone wall.
